In order to reach agreements that benefit victims of Putumayo armed conflict who are interested in accessing higher education, the Putumayo territorial directorate met with the directors of the University of Tolima, virtually.
Germán Narváez, territorial director of the Victims Unit, said that “alliances are being sought on issues related to higher education that allow the victim population to obtain discounts and benefits.”
The territorial director stressed that through the adequate investment of resources, the victims of the conflict can use the money for educational purposes.
Among the programs offered by the University of Tolima are: Financial Administration, Pharmacy Regency Technology and Project Management, among others.
Germán Narváez said that during the health emergency, this educational institution is making free enrollments and giving discounts for undergraduate programs and specializations.
This proposal will be brought to the directors of the University of Tolima in order to be endorsed and the benefits for the victims are achieved.
