In the framework of the component of strengthening income generation for the population victim of forced displacement, the Victims Unit of the Central Territorial Directorate has been implementing the Special Family Accompaniment Schemes in the municipalities of Chaparral and Planadas in the department of Tolima; Territorial entities selected for meeting the defined criteria and also being part of the 170 municipalities with Territorial Development Plans (PDET).
The process for this validity has a procedure that consists of five phases:
Phase 1. Profile of the potential beneficiary population
Phase 2. Formulation of business plans
Phase 3. Acquisition and purchase of the units according to the defined kits
Phase 4. Delivery of the productive units
Phase 5. Follow-up to the schemes
María José Dangond David, director of the Central Territorial, explained that “in compliance with the schedule established in the process, the professionals of the territorial Returns and Relocations group are executing the profiling phase, that is, the identification of homes beneficiaries, phase that has a term until next June 16”.
In the case of these two municipalities, which have a displaced population of nearly 17.000 victims, 265 profiles of the 3.000 households are being carried out, which at the national level will benefit from the delivery of 2.300 kits for the productive units.
“We estimate that of this total of families profiled in Tolima, we will be able to deliver 100 productive units, which will allow us to continue consolidating the return of the displaced population to their territories and to maintain the accompaniment of the entire process of the individual repair route contemplated by law 1448”, said Dangond David.
According to the schedule, the delivery of the productive units will be made between September and October of this year.
