The director of the Central Territorial Unit, María José Dangond, explained that this is one of the complementary processes of the return and relocation plan that works with these families who are victims of forced displacement in the municipality. “We are very pleased because despite the great challenge involved in developing these activities in the midst of the pandemic, our professionals managed to comply with all the methodology, but the most important thing was the response of the community on each day and even in their autonomous actions”, he highlighted.

The formation of leaderships of weavers as results of the processes immersed in the strategy and that have been reflected in the emotional well-being, coexistence, the recognition of their rights and the recognition of the territory by the community, reflecting on their meanings are just some of the benefits that are recognized as the fruits of this strategy of strengthening the social network.

For Guillermina Lobatón Beltrán, a prominent participant in the strategy and who took the voice to express her gratitude to the Unit, “they have given us a space that allowed us to integrate and repair the traces that the past left us and that now thanks the training received we have a better community”.
