
The Victims Unit has delivered $ 20.989 million in compensation, this year in Cali
The Victims Unit participated in the fourth Transitional Justice Committee of the capital of Valle del Cauca, where 7.9% of the population is victims of the armed conflict.

So far this year (as of November 30, 2020), the Victims Unit has delivered humanitarian assistance in Cali for $ 15.071 million, which has reached 17.514 homes of families who are victims of conflict.
In that same period, letters of compensation were delivered to 2.312 people, which adds resources of $ 20.989 million.
These figures were revealed by the territorial director of the entity in Valle, Luz Adriana Toro Vélez, within the framework of the fourth Transitional Justice Committee of Cali, held today virtually, in which all the secretariats of the Mayor's Office of Cali, different entities of the National System of Attention and Integral Reparation to Victims (SNARIV) and representatives of the Table for the Effective Participation of Victims of this city, in which an estimated 7.9% of the population is a victim of armed conflict.
“In this space, in addition to presenting a balance of our actions, we highlight the important articulation achieved with the Victims' Roundtable to carry out actions such as four special days of attention in Llano Verde neighborhood, in which 1.614 victims of the armed conflict were treated”, Said the official.
In this area, Ms. Toro Vélez highlighted, psychosocial support strategies such as Weaving and Strengthening Capacities were also carried out, which aimed to nurture community leaderships, as well as to improve coexistence.
