In Caracolí rural district of El Tres, district of Turbo, the closing and delivery of materials and supplies to the socio-productive initiatives, Production of Honey Forest Katío and La Reina Ecological Soap, was carried out, whose source of entrepreneurship is based on natural products, a friendly project with the environment.
Among the materials delivered, which amount to seven million pesos, includes display shelves, soap molds, face masks, digital scale, honey ripener, honey refractometer, containers, overalls and masks for beekeeping, among others. elements that will strengthen this initiative.
Julieta Echeverry and her family, among other associates, participated in the eight meetings that were scheduled in the accompaniment, which culminated in the fulfillment of its main objectives, integrally accompanying these initiatives, strengthening them in the organizational part, allowing leverage and victims’ access to measures of guarantees of non-repetition ion and satisfaction.
“From the Victims Unit they deliver some implements for our initiative, from which I am very happy to receive this help, since this allows me to continue with my project and my undertaking. To the Unit and all those who made this process possible, I thank them for their support”, said Julieta.
This initiative, like that of Asorepad, in Cirilo, culminated the accompaniment based on the three main lines addressed, such as Education for Peace, Socio productive Processes or Sociocultural Processes, allowed an exercise of reflection around the contribution of inputs that facilitated the understanding, alternatives and transformation of some causes and consequences of armed conflict.
“This psychosocial accompaniment included different differential approaches, this Katío Forest project initiative is led by young and elderly victims, who received guidance, reflected on the conflict, peace and, most importantly, emotional care, the psychosocial part, which together with the materials received, it will allow them to advance and continue contributing to the support of their families and the development of a sub region as diverse as Urabá”, said Elizabeth Granada Ríos, Urabá-Darién territorial director.
