The Unit for the Victims’ Director, Ramon Rodriguez, and the members of the Villagarzon’s Collective Reparation Subject Promotion Committee signed the reparation process closure.
“Today we successfully close the collective reparation process in Villagarzon, an endeavor that was developed in coordination with the community and today is bearing fruit. With the closure of the Villagarzon’s Subject, we keep moving forward in the consolidation of collective reparation in the territories where the armed conflict caused more damage,” stated the Director.
In total, 40 repair actions were applied in the Putumayo department in compliance with the Integral Collective Repair Plans (PIRC in its Spanish acronym), with an investment that exceeds $2,174 million COP.
In the matter of collective reparation, significant progress has been made in this Government period. To date, the four Collective Reparation Subjects of El Placer, El Tigre, La Dorada and Villagarzon have done 100% of the Integral Collective Reparation Plan with an investment close to $2,320 million COP.
“The President’s commitment and instruction is to advance in the victims reparation. That is why we have consolidated our territorial agenda hand in hand with the communities, to listen to their needs and to seek joint solutions,” Rodríguez pointed out.
Likewise, about $837 million COP have been invested to strengthen seven Collective Reparation Subjects through donations and goods for collective use delivery for agricultural production projects, social infrastructure projects, vehicles, school supplies and technological and peripheral equipment provision.
The Collective Reparation Subject closure happened within the territorial agenda led by the Unit for the Victims’ Director in the national territory.
