6,500 entrepreneurial women victims will receive training and support through a private sector and Government alliance

This group of women will be part of the project “Mujeres mas productivas” (More Productive Women), which will begin in Bogota, Medellin, Tumaco, Pasto, Cartagena, and Cucuta.

The Unit for the Victims’ Director, Ramon Rodriguez, revealed that thanks to an alliance between Bavaria Foundation, the Ministry of Commerce, Fenalco and Colombia Productiva, 6,500 shop owner women, who are in the Single Victims Registry, will receive training and support to strengthen their ventures.

The Director said that, initially, this open call is aimed at women who are in Bogota, Medellin Tumaco, Pasto, Cartagena, and Cucuta.
