Administrative compensation has become an incentive for hundreds of people in Chocó, who use these resources to improve housing, education, purchase and marketing of products that will serve to improve the quality of life of them and their family nucleus.
There have been 80 people from municipalities such as Bojayá, Condoto, Tadó and Quibdó who received these compensations for more than $ 900 million approximately, which helps to boost certain sectors of the economy where they invest their resources.
Vanessa Lema, director in charge of the Chocó territorial management, had the opportunity to be present in some deliveries. “I was very moved to see the expression of a victim when the notification was read to her; that left me the feeling that we are helping, repairing and contributing to many people, the responsibility is greater to continue working for the benefit of all the victims of armed conflict”.
Deliveries are made keeping all the biosecurity measures, to protect the victims, who are mostly adults over 74 years of age and who are in health conditions that invites us to be more careful with this population; without neglecting the protection of the officers of the Unit.
The national government, through the Victims Unit, continues to show its commitment to repairing people who suffered various damages as a result of the Colombian armed conflict.
