The Unit for the Victims has assisted 97 forced displacements, 29 confinements and one terrorist act during the pandemic

Due to humanitarian emergencies throughout the country, approximately 21,737 families and 76,801 people have been affected in this period.

The Unit for the Attention and Integral Reparation for the Victims has learned about 127 massive humanitarian emergencies, which correspond to 97 forced displacements, 29 confinements and a terrorist act, these events happened from the beginning of the covid-19 isolation up until April 30th, 2021.

As the main humanitarian actor in the country, the entity has coordinated aid for approximately 21,737 families and 76,801 affected people.

In 2021, the registered forced displacement events are:

•             Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) – Pampalinda, Antonio Nariño neighborhoods and others. 

•             Barbacoas (Nariño) – Cocal village.

•             El Tambo (Cauca) – San Juan de Micay settlement.

•             El Tambo (Cauca) – Nayita village.  

•             Tibú (Norte de Santander) – La Silla settlement, Abato village.

•             Litoral del San Juan (Choco) – Charambira- Chupaba 

•             Magui Payan (Nariño) – La Loma village. 

•             Caceres (Antioquia) – Rio Man village. 

•             Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) – La Playita y Bello Horizonte.

•             Santa Barbara de Iscuande (Nariño) – La Buga village.

•             Ituango (Antioquia) – Quindio, Alto del Limon, Sauces, Quebrada del Medio, El Zarzal villages.   

•             Ituango (Antioquia) – San Matias village.     

•             Mosquera (Nariño) – La Pampa village. 

•             Hacarí (Norte de Santander) – Monte Tarra village. 

•             Dabeiba (Antioquia) – Cañaveral village.

•             Alto Baudo (Choco) – Mohamia communities.

•             Peque (Antioquia) – Nueva Granada village. 

•             Amalfi (Antioquia) – Naranjales village.

•             Guapi (Cauca) – Santa Maria, Alto Napi villages – Belen community.

•             Caceres (Antioquia) – Quebradona village.

•             Argelia (Cauca) – Las Vegas. 

•             Murindó (Antioquia) – Turriquitado Alto, from Chagerado Reservation, and Coredo from Rio Murindo Reservation. 

•             Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) – San Antoñito village, Yurumangui  River Basin.

•             Bagado (Choco) – Cevede community. 

•             Peque (Antioquia) – Portachuelo village, Los Chorros.

•             Santa Barbara de Iscuande (Nariño) – Chontaduro and Cucuragua villages. 

•             Caceres (Antioquia) – Santa Cruz village. 

•             Tierralta (Córdoba) – Santa Isabel del Manso.

•             La Tola (Nariño) – Pueblito village, San Pablo de la Mar, Pangamosa, Secadero and Las Delicias.

•             Olaya Herrera (Nariño) – Bocas del Barro, Bocas del Brazo, Alto San Antonio villages.

•             Bajo Baudo (Choco) – Geando.

•             Timbiqui (Cauca) – Cupi community, Los Brazos, Community Council Saija’s lower area.

•             Rio Viejo (Bolivar) – La Garita village, La Beta.

•             El Charco (Nariño) – Catalina village, Las Mercedes, Mata Palo.

•             Dabeiba (Antioquia) – La Blanquita.

•             Bagado (Choco) – Bajo Curripipi.

•             Medio Atrato (Choco) – El Yucal community.

•             Argelia (Cauca) – El Plateado.

•             Caceres (Antioquia) – Campanario village.

•             Magui Payan (Nariño) – Nansalvi village.

•             Barbacoas (Nariño) – Palvi y Yaguapi.

In 2021, the registered confinement events are:   

•             Bojaya (Choco) – Union Cuity, Cuity Central – Napipi River Basin.   

•             Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) – Mesetas community.    

•             Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) – comunidad Nounam Nandurr   

•             Bagado (Choco) – Conondo, Brisas, Piedra Honda and others.

•             Murindo (Antioquia) – Guagua, Isla, Coredo, Chimiado, Bachidubi, Ñarangue, Chagerado, Chibugado, Turriquitado Alto, Turriquitado Bajo, Turriquitado Llano. 

•             Alto Baudo (Choco) – Jurubira Resrvation Indigenous Communities- Chori- Alto Baudó- Santa Maria de Condoto, Cristiano. 

•             Dabeiba (Antioquia) – Amparrado Alto, Amparrado Medio, Amoladora, Genaturado.  

•             Bojaya (Choco) – Alto Bojaya River Basin – Mojaudo and Playa Blanca communities- Chanu.

•             El Charco (Nariño) – El Carmelo village and y San Jose.

•             Alto Baudo (Choco) – Puerto Alegre, Divisa, Morro Playa Bonita, La Loma and Puerto Luis communities.

In 2021, the recorded terrorist act happened in:

• Corinto (Cauca) – Municipal Head

Immediate Humanitarian Aid:

Until April 30th, 2021, the entity had given immediate humanitarian aid by cash mechanism in subsidiary support to territorial entities in 23 departments, 198 municipalities and 5,133 households, for an amount of $6,429,478,212 COP.

In this work, ethnic communities were supported, such as afro (548 households) for an amount of $464,705,216 COP; indigenous (174 households) with resources of $ 205,111,080 COP; and a gypsy household with $1,176,257 COP.

Through the in-kind mechanism, the Unit provided immediate Humanitarian Aid in subsidiary support to nine departments territorial entities, 38 municipalities, and 13,184 households for an amount of $9,106,979,714 COP.

Through this mechanism, 3,270 afro households received $2,364,871,405 COP and 5,352 indigenous households received $3,995,057,475 COP.
