18 Action Plans were approved in Sucre, with the support of the Unit

The approval of these PATs becomes the roadmap for the departmental government to implement the public policy of victims in the programs established in the Development Plan.

In the Territorial Committee for Transitional Justice (CTJT), 18 municipalities in the department of Sucre agreed and approved the Territorial Action Plan (PAT), as a path to develop the programs and actions that are contemplated in the departmental Development Plan for the benefit of the victim population.

The municipalities that approved PAT, with the accompaniment of the Sucre Territorial of the Victims Unit were Sincelejo, El Roble, Galeras, Corozal, Santiago de Tolú, Caimito, Coveñas, Sincé, San Pedro, Betulia, Ovejas, Morroa, Chalán, Los Palmitos, Toluviejo, San Marcos, Majagual and Sampos.

The approval of these PATs becomes the roadmap for the departmental government to implement the public policy of victims in the programs established in the Development Plan, actions that will benefit thousands of victims of armed conflict in this area of ​​the country.

Regarding the progress of the Transitional Justice committees and the approval of the PAT, the director of Sucre Territorial of the Victims Unit, Isaac Hernández, pointed out that in these scenarios the entity provides technical assistance and it is necessary to balance the legal requirements, guarantee of the victims’ rights to truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-repetition.
