In the administrative headquarters of the municipality of Apartadó, the round tables of international and inter-institutional coordination and cooperation were held, with the aim of materializing and strengthening the actions, programs and the institutional offer, through the support of cooperating agencies, public sector companies and private, for the benefit of victims.
This strategy of the Victims Unit, through the international cooperation group and strategic alliances, assigned to the general direction of the entity, fulfilled an agenda with different public and private companies to develop and publicize the new line of work, in which the private sector plays a preponderant role, in the alignment and consolidation of the strategy to the new development plan, in order to generate employability and entrepreneurship.
In this regard, private companies participated as an important segment to strengthen processes with communities affected by armed conflict, such as the Rosalba Zapata Cardona Corporation, the Banana Association of Colombia (Augura), the Unibán Social Foundation (FundaUniban), and the port project Puerto Antioquia Urabá.
In the different tables held by sectors, a space was opened for the reconciliation table, made up of entities such as the Department of Social Prosperity (DPS), ICBF, the Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization, the Seine, the IOM, the Mission of Verification of the UN and non-governmental organizations such as Social Pastoral.
The territorial Urabá-Darién, will continue to manage spaces for the benefit of the population affected by armed conflict, in strengthening actions that complement the effective implementation of public policy for assistance, attention and comprehensive reparation to the victims of this subregion, allowing these sectors to know the dynamics in the attention to the survivors and the processes that are advanced.
