In development of the Workshop Building Country number 31, the territorial director Nariño of the Victims Unit, William Pinzón, together with the regional director of Social Prosperity, Jaime Rosales, presented before the national director, Susana Correa, samples of productive projects of the region, taking into account that Social Prosperity is responsible, at the national level, for designing, coordinating and implementing public policies for overcoming poverty and social equity.
In the sample of undertakings were women weavers of peace organizations, artisan victims of the municipality of La Cruz, who are linked to a process of collective reparation, and exhibited their products, among which are the hats of iraca, costume jewelery and articles of cooking. Also, the Association of Triple A Coffee, coffee growers who export high quality coffee, and representatives of the implementation project of half a hectare of pea, with two components: technical, with the accompaniment, assistance and delivery of agricultural inputs, and psychosocial, with the implementation of the strategy of emotional recovery and accompaniment to integral reparation (Ereari).
Before the visit to the respective stands, the director Susana Correa, national representative of the sector of social inclusion and reconciliation, and director of Social Prosperity, said that “it is our responsibility and duty not to leave them alone in the commercialization process. As entities we must help them to have their products have the expected end; we cannot allow projects to be filled with products that later will not find an outlet, so count on our support and we will look for ways to activate the commercialization of your projects”.
In addition, to women of the Association Looking for New Paths, Susana Correa committed herself to the inclusion of new victims to together network program and to the strategy of My Business for the achievement of sewing machines to strengthen their productive processes.
Thus, the articulation of actions of Social Prosperity and the Victims Unit advances, for the benefit of victims of Nariño department.
