Riosucio already have a Territorial Action Plan approved to work for the victims

This municipalit in Caldas obtained the approval of its Territorial Action Plan (PAT) for the 2020-2023 term, under development by the Transitional Justice Committee, with the aim of improving the quality of life of the victims who live in the territory.

The municipal Administration of Riosucio (Caldas), carried out a Transitional Justice Committee in order to approve the Contingency Plan, the Territorial Action Plan, review the concept of security in the territory and thus continue to comply with the work schedule to the victim population that lives in its jurisdiction.

“For us as a municipal administration, the victims of armed conflict are a priority and this is reflected in the work plan and the Territorial Action Plan with which we are going to work during these four years, we intend that all entities work together to remove all these plans and programs go ahead”, said the mayor of the municipality, Marlon Alexánder Tamayo.

The thick lines of this PAT approved by the 16 members of the Committee, they are due to benefits for the victims in access to health, housing, education and productive projects, in the same way it encompasses symbolic commemorations and satisfaction measures, rural credits, cultural processes, guarantees of participation, psychosocial strategies, land restitution, among others, everything this with the aim of helping the population to overcome their conditions of vulnerability.

“The municipality of Riosucio has been working together with the Unit to carry out all these plans aimed at benefiting the victims, from our entity we have provided all the tools and advice from our professionals so that the plans are well constructed and that the victims they can fulfill dreams and projects to stabilize themselves”, argued Laura Moreno, territorial director of the entity in the Coffee Region.

During this virtual meeting, in addition to the officials of the Mayor’s Office of Riosucio and the Victims Unit, the Municipal Ombudsman, Ombudsman’s Office, Caldas Regional Indigenous Council, ICBF, SENA, Police, Army, Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization also attended. and the representatives of the victims before the Committee, Mercedes Tapasco and Diana Bustamante.

In the municipality of Riosucio, 3,629 people are subject to care by the Victims Unit, and so far and according to the statistical figures of the National Information Network, the entity has made 1.550 administrative compensation for the individual reparation of the population, which amounts to an investment of $ 11.900 million pesos.
