The territorial director of Victims Unit for in Nariño, William Pinzón Fernández, met with the regional director of Social Properity, Jaime Rosales, in order to articulate the actions of each entity for the benefit of victims of the department.
In this meeting, in which there were also mayors and representatives of the post-conflict municipalities in Nariño, the national strategy “Families On Your Earth – FEST 7” was socialized, which from the departmental public policy will help to address issues of displaced populations, and advance processes on issues of returns and re-locations necessary for the integral reparation of victims.
During the meeting, the director of Unit, assured that “we hope that the new work will be satisfactory with a view always to fulfill the people in each project that we advance, trying to be as efficient as possible, thus, the victims benefit from programs of social investment, overcoming poverty, and management programs that bring to a successful conclusion the process of returning to their lands and that can supply any type of need that comes their way”.
Similarly, William Pinzón added that “in Nariño we will continue from the Unit looking for alliances that allow us to continue working hand in hand with the victims”.
For his part, the director of Social Prosperity said that “we and from inter-institutional work will always seek to contribute to the social inclusion of vulnerable rural households and to the integration of communities in the countryside. With the Victims Unit we will work promoting processes of productive projects, food and nutrition security and strengthening human and social capital”.
