The Territorial Caquetá-Huila Victims Unit participated in the First Transitional Justice Departmental Committee of 2019, in which the progress in the process of attention and reparation to the victims of armed conflict is shared by the National System of Attention and Integral Reparation to the Victims (Snariv). At the meeting, Governor Carlos Julio González Villa, proposed the conclusion of an inter-institutional agreement with the Unit, in which both parties contribute an equal amount of $ 400 million to invest in the operation of characterization process in the targeted municipalities.
In figures of the National Network of Information RNI, from 2015 to 2018 24,508 households have been characterized, equivalent to 84,309 people, out of a total of 209,882 victims registered in the Department of Huila.
During the activity, was also socialized by the Unit, the general report of actions by the Observatory Network of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Nodo Huila (RODHI), integrated by observatories of the National Police, National Army, University Surcolombiana, Neiva Technological School Foundation and the Surcolombian Human Rights Observatory.
In this regard, the final act of the meeting stipulated the permanent assistance of said Node in the following transitional justice committees.
