The victims claim that justice is done because they innocently paid with their lives in an absurd war of petty revenge. Forgiveness and forgetting say those who do not know to forgive, forgive but never forget “.
After symbolic acts such as the construction of a message bedspread led by the Table of Victims and the delivery of sunflower seeds as an invitation to focus on new opportunities, the team of the Victims Unit made the delivery of distinctions to the leaders for the work they have been doing in the territory.
Dilsa Falla, delegate of Victims Departmental Board was one of the 39 leaders who received the award. She stressed that this day was historic for all, because they felt the attention and support of the institutions.
At the same time, she extended an invitation to put aside the past and begin to rebuild. “We victims are made of the best material and that is precisely why we are alive.
