In Tumaco, Unit for Victims presents balance of actions against record 620
A balance of 11,460 victims compensated in 10 municipalities subject to record 620, issued by the Constitutional Court, presented the Victims Unit in Tumaco.
In the development of High Level Intersectorial Commission for the Pacific Coast of Nariño, which took place this Friday, June 29, in the municipality of Tumaco, Victims Unit presented its management balance in the 10 municipalities that are subject to the attention of according to what is established in record 620 issued by the Constitutional Court.
In the report, presented before the Vice President of the Republic Oscar Naranjo Castro, the plenary of the commission, mayors and representatives of the community, it was indicated that about $ 51,000 million were invested as compensation for 11,460 victims of conflict, during the period included between 2009 and 2017.
The national director of Victims Unit Yolanda Pinto Afanador, indicated that these resources have reached the municipalities of: El Charco, La Tola, Olaya Herrera, Santa Barbara, Mosquera, Barbacoas, Magüi Payán, Roberto Payán, Francisco Pizarro and Tumaco .
Pinto director also assured that the Unit continues to deliver humanitarian aid in this area of Nariño and added that in these municipalities, since the validity of the Auto have taken resources valued at close to $ 14,700 million that have benefited 37. 526 victims.
Likewise, the board of directors stated that with the start-up of the Regional Center for Assistance to Victims of conflict in the port of Tumaco, attention is dignified to the surviving community of the conflict in this section of Nariño.
It should be noted that the record 620 is an order of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Colombia that requires the State as a whole to develop specific actions for protection of the ethnic community of the ten municipalities of the Pacific of Nariño.
